The COVID 19 pandemic has greatly impacted all our lives.  These are indeed extremely challenging times.  Many individuals within the Town of Clinton may need additional assistance. The Chiefs of the East and West Clinton Fire Departments met with the Town Supervisor to discuss options to offer such aid.

Your Fire and EMS services are still responding for all emergency situations.  However, we believe that some residents who are either under mandatory quarantine or under NYS direction to remain in their homes, may need help with necessary provisions.  Your fire companies will provide and deliver items to such homes at no cost to the recipient.  Nonperishable food items have been purchased by the Easy and West Fire Companies at no cost to the taxpayers.

The list of prepackaged items includes:  Fruit cups, apple sauce, pasta and sauce, canned vegetables, beans, canned soup, crackers, peanut butter, macaroni and cheese, rice meals, oatmeal, canned tuna and chicken, juice and boxed milk.

Please understand that we are offering this assistance only to those who may not have other means of ascertaining needed provisions, such as non-quarantined family members or neighbors.  However, when no option is available, we are here to help.  Additionally, if you know any qualifying individuals, please contact us.

To request a delivery of the aforementioned items, help is only a phone call away.

East Clinton – Chief Don Estes            266-5485

West Clinton – Chief Brian Dingee       389-9199

A member of the fire company will call and let you know when your package will be delivered and leave it outside your door.

We will prevail over this pandemic.  Your fire departments are here to assist however possible.  Please obey recommended isolation guidelines and may God bless America.
